Access to information for the general public is vital in a
democracy. Most Americans get their information through television,
newspapers, and the internet. My television and internet here in
Arizona is provided by Cox and when I was in California, it was
provided by Comcast. For highspeed internet and cable, what were my
choices ? The rates that they charge are outrageous and should be
strigently regulated. In this anti-regulation environment, if this
bill will give the public more choices and reduce the costs, I am
for it.
