Dear FCC:
As a broadcaster myself early in my adult life, I have subsequently payed close attention to the health
of the industry.
It is precisely the diversity of opinion and the more active engagement in civic communities that
smaller and independent broadcasting produces that is at the heart of a healthy and vital participatory
democracy and a strong nation.
Please prevent big media from getting any bigger and instead encourage a more diverse,
independent and minority ownership.
