Before the FCC decided to pursue Net Neutrality protections, Fox News Channel's Glenn Beck
warned his audience that the government was "trying to take over the media." Beck later said that Net
Neutrality would "wildly affect your life and free speech" by forcing a "Marxist utopia" on the Internet.
Mr Beck is telling blatant lies in the hopes of scaring his audience so thoroughly that they won't
investigate the facts; he and his handlers are betting that fear will get the better of reason. Net
Neutrality doesn't even have anything to do with the media; 'Marxist' is included in that statement
solely as a scare word.
